The story of Cibes company started in Sweden in 1947 and Sweden is still the heart and soul of Cibes today. Although they have become a global lift company with a worldwide presence, their identity remains deeply rooted in the Swedish soil and we all share the same vision and values.

What started as a small lift company in the North of Sweden in 1947, has grown into Cibes Lift Group, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of ready-made, space-saving lifts, designed to be fast to install and easy to upgrade.

Encased in a mast of high-quality safety glass, our screw-driven system is both whisper quiet and energy-efficient.
Smart safety hatch
To secure the floor opening, the safety hatch automatically opens as the lift goes up and closes as the lift goes down.

Ergonomic handrail controls
The elegant, ergonomic handrail controls* are easy to use both standing and seated and are also comfortable to operate for wheelchair users.
Folding seat
The folding seat* is a great example of flexible comfort. Just fold the seat down when you need it and simply fold it up again when you have no more use for it.
Elegant saloon doors
Cibes Ascenda is the only through-the-floor lift with saloon doors. Elegant and space-saving, the doors have concealed, automatic door openers as standard. *Standard on all lift sizes, except size S
Mirror ceiling & built-in fan
The mirror ceiling adds a futuristic touch and makes the lift car feel even more spacious. It also features a built-in fan to offer you a fresh breeze as you travel.
Color ( Black | white )
Cibes Ascenda is available in Signal White RAL 9003 (standard) or in Graphite Black RAL 9011 (optional). Two classic shades that look great in any home.
Ergonomic Lift Car
The lift car is equipped with a vertical control panel as well as intuitive handrail controls to offer you comfortable operation both standing and seated.
The lift works with hold-to-run to ensure that you are always in control:
- Maintain pressure on the button to travel
- Release pressure on the button to stop
Hold-to-run operation is mandatory in Europe. In countries outside of Europe, other rules may apply.
Electrical Cabinet
Depending on what suits your home best, the electrical cabinet of Cibes Ascenda can be placed either on the left-hand or the right-hand side of the mast on the bottom floor.
The electrical cabinet can also be placed away from the lift, at a distance of maximum 3 metres (remote electrical cabinet).
Door Options
Sizes S to L are always delivered with one single door facing the vertical control panel, but the XL size offers your more options:
Door options for the XL size of Cibes Ascenda
- One door placed on the right side of the control panel
- One door placed on the left side of the control panel
- Two doors placed on both sides of the control panel (see picture)
The option where two doors are placed on both sides of the control panel is also called open-through access. Open-through access makes entering and exiting the lift very easy and is particularly convenient for passengers using a walker or a wheelchair.

A 4000 | A5000 Home Lift
EcoSilent drive
Cibes A4000 is delivered as an all-inclusive lift concept, including a modular lift shaft to reduce construction costs. Cibes A4000 is machine room less and requires no lift pit, nor extra headroom. All electrics are plug & play and your lift works with standard 1-phase or 3-phase electricity. 2-3 days is all we need for a 2-stop lift to be installed.

Lift Shaft & Doors
Our Cibes A4000, Cibes A5000, Cibes A8000 are always delivered with a ready-made lift shaft so that you do not need to build one unless you really want to. The lift shaft is made of steel panels as standard but is also available with glazed panels.
You have the choice of many different door models: steel doors, steel gates, aluminium doors, or fire rated EI60 doors. Steel gates are only available for the top floor and lifts with a maximum travel of 3 metres, in accordance with European Safety Standards.
Colors & Materials
Powder coating For the lift shaft, shaft ceiling, doors, standard call buttons, and platform, we offer you a total of almost 300 Classic RAL Colors and premium colors to choose from.
The cabin walls of the Cibes C1 Pure is available in eight different high-quality laminates; from pure white to wood and brushed metal finishes. The corner profiles of the lift cabin are delivered in Jet Black RAL 9005 as standard.
We offer you a collection of 9 sustainable safety floorings. you also have the option to order the platform without flooring to put in your own vinyl flooring or carpet. In addition, these platform lift models can be customised with tiles or wood laminate. Platform lifts with customised tiles or laminate flooring require a 70 mm deep pit.
